Barbour Acorn Wax Jacket - Black/Classic

The Acorn is made from a 8oz medium weight traditional waxed cotton with a classic tartan lining. This weight of wax is perfect for taking you through the seasons being waterproof for those rainy days and boasting moleskin-lined handwarmer pockets for the chillier ones. Design details include both moleskin-lined hand warmer pockets and spacious patch pockets plus a traditional corduroy collar complete with tartan lining.
Whilst the Acorn Jacket may seem similar to Barbour's Beadnell Jacket there are subtle differences. The Acorn is treated with an 8oz Oban wax whereas the Beadnell is treated with the traditional 8oz Sylkoil wax meaning the Acorn has a more matte finish in comparison. In addition the Acorn provides a modern boyfriend or boxier fit whilst the Beadnell is slightly more fitted. Both jackets are full of Barbour's brilliant touches so it really is up to personal taste!
Turn back the cuffs to reveal the synonymous tartan lining for a timeless look.
